Desert Sand Unified School District newest K-8 Educational Facilities was constructed at the south-east corner of Miles Ave. and Palms Dr. in the city of La Quinta.  These schools were named as Amelia Earhart Elementary School and John Glen Middle School, upon the completion in 2002.

LandMark Consultants, Inc. is the geotechnical engineer of the record for this project. We are providing construction inspection and materials testing during construction starting in 2000.
