Calexico WTP Upgrades

LandMark Consultants, Inc. provided geotechnical engineering services for design of the proposed improvements to the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) located at 554 Pierce Avenue and the Raw Water Reservoir located about ¾ mile north of the WTP at the northwest corner of Pruett Road and Sam Ellis Street both in Calexico, California. The proposed improvements at the water treatment plant consist of the construction of a new 80-ft diameter concrete reinforced clarifier, two new reinforced concrete filter beds, and a 42 by 30 feet masonry block chlorine storage building. The proposed 80-ft. diameter clarifier and the two new filter beds will be constructed mostly below grade. The structure at the raw water reservoir site will consist of a 24 by 32 feet new masonry block building for a standby generator and electrical switchgear.
