Yuma Proving
Grounds Bridge Replacement

LandMark Consultants, Inc.provided geotechnical engineering services for design and repair
of three bridges located on the US Army-Yuma Providing Grounds (YPG)
north of Yuma, Arizona. The proposed project consisted of the
repair of abutments and deck supports at Jerc-1 and Jerc-2 bridge
sites and the setting of new box culverts over a stormwater wash
at the Jerc-3 site. The existing bridges are railroad flatcars
supported on concrete and timber abutments with earthen ramps
covered with asphaltic concrete.
