LandMark Consultants, Inc.
provided geotechnical engineering services for design of the El
Centro Federal Magistrate Court building located at the southwest
corner of Adams Avenue and LaBrucherie Road in western El Centro,
California. The Court building consists a 40,000 square foot,
two-story court building and associated parking. Heavy column
loads and shallow groundwater (7 feet) required special
considerations for building support pad and foundation design to
mitigate settlements.
